A collection of modern era firearms, specifically crafted to maximise their sonic impact. All these sounds have been created using Hollywood film trailer processes to achieve more punch and cut -through in your projects. Each set of sounds is based on an equivalent real world firearm recorded in 4 different locations. Exterior open, Exterior built-up, Interior large space and Interior small space. Each set also includes sounds for loading and unloading, equipping and unequipping as well as cocking and dryfiring. Automatic weapons also include sounds for burst-fire.

Note: All sound files are normalised to maximise impact and clarity, but many sounds should not be played at maximum volume. Cartridge impacts, equip and unequip sounds and even weapon empty sounds can be significantly reduced in volume when implemented.

Sound collection depicting the operation of bolt action rifle
Based on the Lee-Enfield design from the beginning of the 20th Century, the bolt action 303 rifle has seen service around the globe in countless military actions. This model is the Australian made variant produced at the Lithgow Small Arms Factory.
This library contains 117 sound files recorded at 96KHz, 24 bit. Each sound has multiple variations to avoid repetition of the types of sounds that get used commonly on projects that need firearms sound.
The collection includes Foley handling sounds, firing sounds and cartridge surface impact sounds.
