With over 100 years of history in one library, the Telephony Collection offers sound effects from a diverse range of telecommunication devices used throughout the last century!

Recorded on location at the Telstra Museum in Australia, this library contains over 1,500 sound effects (2.6GB) of over 50 different historical telecommunication devices including telephones (rotary and pushbutton), payphones, switchboards, exchanges & clocks:

The Telephony Collection comes with a visual reference guide for making selecting your sounds an easier process. Not sure what sounds might suit your purpose best? The reference guide includes 62 images of devices in the collection accessible in the directory and also embedded in each file for display in your asset management software.
This library is delivered as 16-bit/96 kHz broadcast .wav files as a download.
